Masi मसी

Masi is the content studio behind Lawyers Nepal Platform — researched legal writing, published in as many languages as a site needs, held to a standard enforced in code.

Masi means ink: the oldest tool of the profession, doing the oldest job in it — getting the law written down in language a client can act on.

Masi writes the legal content on sites we build. Every article is researched against government and published sources before a word is drafted, written in English, then translated into the other languages that site runs. Nothing reaches a site until it clears a fixed standard, and nothing is published without a named author and an editor who can switch it off.

How it writes

How an article gets made

01

Research before drafting

An article cannot be drafted from nothing. Government sources and the existing published field are gathered first, and writing starts from what the law and the field already say.

02

English first, then translated

English is the original. Every other language is translated from it, so there is one set of facts and a faithful rendering in each language — not several drafts that drift apart.

03

Measured, not assumed

Depth, structure, sourcing, internal linking and metadata are scored against a fixed bar before anything publishes. Nothing goes out under 1,500 words, and a rewrite that does not beat the live article is not treated as an improvement.

04

Published ready to be found

Search metadata and structured data ship with the article, internal links are checked against pages that actually exist, and every piece gets its own cover art rather than stock photography.

Languages

However many the market needs

The number is set per site. The part usually got wrong is the URLs, and it is the part that costs the most to get wrong.

As many as the site needs
The set is configured per site, not fixed. A firm selling into one foreign market runs one extra language; a firm selling into several runs several. Adding or dropping one is a configuration change, not a rebuild.
English keeps the URLs it ranks on
Adding languages does not move the English pages, so nothing that already earns traffic is put at risk. Every other language gets its own prefix and its own slug.
Language tags built from real pages
Search engines are told which translations exist, based only on pages that do exist. A page not yet translated still serves, falling back to English, and right-to-left languages ship correctly.
Control

The editor stays in charge

It cannot republish what you switched off
Whether an article is live is an editorial decision. A later revision from the pipeline does not overturn it.
It cannot sign in, and cannot delete
Masi writes through an authenticated interface and holds no password. The account it writes under has no delete permission of any kind.
Every article records who wrote it
A piece written by Masi is labelled Masi. A firm’s own lawyer writing under their own name overrides it. The two are never confused.
Renaming cannot break a link
A changed title rewrites the URL and redirects the old one — the most common way a firm quietly loses its best-performing page.

Masi enforces depth, sourcing and structure. It does not verify that a statement of Nepali law is correct or current — that judgement stays with a qualified lawyer, and the pipeline publishes nothing without a human action.
